The Bucket List Project served as a great introduction to Chicago rapper Saba, and on his latest effort Care 4 Me he doubles down on the style he showed us on The Bucket List Project. In a city full of drill music and Chance The Rapper, Saba doesn’t change his style for anyone. He explained the album as “an introspective journey haunted by trauma and deflated with social anxiety,” and that’s an accurate description on the album. He self reflects to say the least here, but people will be able to relate to the things he’s dealing with. It’s music for rainy days, and we all have those.
