The definition of real rap can be summarized with Detroit’s Supakaine. He’s carved his own lane talking about real life over some of the most smooth of beats. He has a new tape on the way, Just Like My Neighbors and not only is “F*ck Wordplay” one of the first songs recorded from it, but also the first song he’s released.
Kaine wants to bridge the gap with his music, seeing both sides of Detroit, understanding the inner city as well as the suburbs. Scholastica Park was a step in the right direction for him, but Just Like My Neighbors should surpass that. Over some DaG & Icepic production, Kaine gets off for nearly three minutes. Check him out above.
