YG has been bashing Def Jam for months over his latest album, STAY DANGEROUS, but it’s finally here. The last full release from YG was 2016’s Still Brazy, which was a follow up to the classic My Krazy Life. It’s safe to say that YG has pulled off the trifecta with STAY DANGEROUS making another west coast banger of an album.

The big win for YG here is that DJ Mustard is back in tow. They fell out, and for that reason, Mustard wasn’t on Still Brazy. While he was still able to drop a hard album, Mustard was missed with them being one of the more popular duo’s in rap today.

Mustard has a ton of production here, and that helps bring all YG’s gang stories, songs for women, and all-out aggressiveness out. The first half of the album is a little shaky, but after “Big Bank,” (which is ruined by Nicki Minaj) he doesn’t miss.

Quavo gives him what’s most likely going to be a hit on the song “Slay,” YG snaps on “666,” which features YoungBoy Never Broke Again and the album’s closer is a special one and probably the best outro we’ve heard all year.

The rest of the features include A$AP Rocky, Jay 305, Mozzy, 2 Chainz & Big Sean. Listen to STAY DANGEROUS above.
