Few rappers have made the seamless transition from artists to curator quite like Joe Budden. Because of this, it came as no surprise when business guru, Diddy, announced earlier this year that his REVOLT media company will be adding Budden’s talents to its line up.
Now — just in time for Budden’s Cake Day — the accumulation of their deal has been made public. Using a promo video that mirrors both of their over-the-top personalities, Puffy and Budden announced Joe’s new, REVOLT original series, State of the Culture.
And despite remaining relevant, State of the Culture‘s Sept. 10 premiere will be Budden’s official return following his very public breakup with Complex and Everyday Struggle. This deal coincides with Joe’s popular podcast reaching a streaming agreement with Spotify.
